Taiko (TAIKO) - Based Preconfirmations - 10 Jun 2025

Taiko is making a big update on June 10th, 2025. All node operators must update their software. If they do not, they could be disconnected from the chain. This change is important because only “whitelisted” groups will be able to propose blocks. If many people do not update, there could be problems for the network, which can make trading risky. As we transition to whitelisted preconfirmers, current proposers will be unable to propose.

To continue as a node operator or prover, you need to update your software before June 10th UTC.
